Page and the bus

This morning we went for a walk around the neighborhood. When we were walking down the main street, a city bus went past and made a terrible noise as it let some air out of it's neumatic tanks. Page tried to bolt but quickly calmed down and gave me tail wag when I petted her.
This is something that we're going to have to work on since Page is going to have to be able to ride public transit.

My pup is going through a fear stage. The best way to combat is not to do the "oh it's ok" type of behavior, but to make it super exciting.
Whenever a car goes by I get all excited and then Beta doesn't get scared. Same with the garage door. Coddling them will only increase their fear.

Rosie was startled by the noise of a bus at first, she quickly calmed and I remember our very first bus ride together...wow! so different now! By far our greatest achievement was flying up north, me and Rosie on the plane! Still cannot believe it! Two years ago I could not leave my house, amazing. The trip and pics are in Rosie's blog, she sends a big warm tail wag to Page!
